Does the Anker USB-C to USB 3.1 Adapter (Item #AK-848061067804, Amazon ASIN B01COOQIKU) work to power an Apple Superdrive from a 2017 15" MacBook Pro w/Touch bar? The Superdrive DVD drive is Apple model #A1379 and the power requirements on the drive are 5V DC 1.6A. I have a Belker hub adapter with 2 USB-A ports, but when I plug the drive into that, I get a message that there isn’t enough power.
