hi, Xavier, at present, the hardware feature does not support drawing custom Activity Zones. Please consider using multiple Activity Zones to solve this issue.:blush:

If I set it to Human Only, will it still record all events? I’d like my cameras to still record all the cars driving past but only alert for human events.

@Chris223 True for your case. It records all the activity whenever it is able to detect based on your zones and motion sensitivity, but will reduce amount of notifications as you set it to human only.

There must be a bug in the latest firmware. As soon as I set it to human only or add activity zones it stops recording anything outside of that.

No, I think this was the intention of not recording anything outside of the zones, if you have zones defined. This was among the top 10 feature upgrades specially for our friends in Europe where they are not allowed to use it otherwise as per local laws.

You need to ensure you are covering the area you need to be monitored, when using zones.

After the app has been updated, I have not received any motion notifications anymore.
Some members with the same problem or some suggestions to solve this?
Is there an app manual?

I have make new settings, buth now i receive many videos, buth no notification of motion and i see people in the middle of the camera.

Is it true that the 3 zones that you can create are the activity zones?
You only get detection in those zones?
Does the motion detection work then?
Is it true that you do not receive push notifications when you set up activity zones?
Is there face recognition when you set up activity zones?
Is there an alarm on when you set up activity zones?

I am convinced that the activity zones don’t work properly when set to all motion. I have set zones for my driveway but I still get notified of movement outside of those zones.

Same issue here… even with HomeKit disabled (where activity zones set in the eufy app don’t seem to work)

@AnkerTechnical @AnkerSupport I recently purchased a 2C system and sorry to say I’m finding out the box performance totally inadequate. Is there anything you can do to help ?

One of the camera’s fails to send notifications / video - the other is flakey. (sends occasional notifications) Both camera’s have been installed as per your recommended height guidelines.

I can confirm 1) motion sensors work fine when tested 2) wi-fi signal is registered as Great/Good on both camera’s 3) Firmware is up to date.

I have tried all the re-booting guidelines on the forum here where other customers have registered similar notification problems. Including removing / reloading EUFY security app, removing / replacing camera’s, switching off/on homebase, increasing sensitivity settings etc. None of the above have fixed the issue.

I was recently the victim of an attempted burglary which led me to purchase your system - grateful if if you could help fix the above asap so I can provide a level of protection to my property and family.

Camera serial nos : T8113N1319520DO (Doesn’t detect motion)
Camera serial nos: T8113N131952029C (Occasionally detects motion)

I just bought some 2c cameras and activity zones do not work. They also turn off all detection and recording in and out of the activity zones. I have removed the activity zones and still no detection and recording. I’ve had to bring down camera from roof and remove/readd the device. Works now… Not ideal!
Do activity zones work??
