Theory is 50% discount, assuming it’s true and the RRP not inflated, means similar but better products coming in a few weeks.
The free return window causes the Amazon renewed inventory where when a better product comes along, or the same product is discounted heavily, and these then later compete with new inventory. So you have to discount weeks before a new deeper discount or newer product beyond the return window.
