I bought an Anker Soundcore Bluetooth speaker from Amazon as a Christmas gift however I have attempted to pair multiple devices to it , and although they appear to pair without any issues and I can see that the music is playing, there is no sound coming from either speaker or device(Iphone 6S plus is the main one) even though the volume is turned up full on both.

Have you tried to connect via an aux cable to narrow down wether the issue is with the BT connection or physically with the speaker itself? If you are unable to get anything out of the speaker on aux connection also I would suggest dropping an email to support@anker.com with your serial, purchase date and troubleshooting steps taken.
Also, remember to put the volume on HIGH on your device.
