A good update: Anker decided to give me a full refund though Aliexpress, so I feel a little better now
I'm confident that the products are good as long as they work - that was never an issue. For the short moment that my SoundCore Pro actually worked I was blow away by the sound quality. It's the problem I had with the "worry free" warranty that really set me off! Perhaps I should've guessed that purchasing through Aliexpress was a bad idea, but then again it was Anker's official store, so I assumed it wouldn't be a problem.
But anyway, I've gotten over it and as long as the refund actually get on my account I'm good.
The only "problem" being that I still don't have a bluetooth speaker with good sound in my house. Don't know if I'll consider Anker again though because of all this, but you never know. Will not purchasing through Aliexpress again though, and honestly Anker should be more clear that the people buying from there really don't have access to the worry free warranty (unless you are being a pain in the ass like I was).
