The ZERO an attempt of a review
Great review my friend! The monkey pic is the cherry on the top, and a nice way to get a sense of the Zero’s size - at least for those of us with a Flare. I for one imagined it somewhat bigger, but I’m actually relieved to see it’s smaller than I thought, because it means I can actually have a place for it in my home. 
Nice to see the Anker customer service works well everywhere, too!
That was a great review and I loved the monkeys.
@fhassm my friend looks like the monkeys are as popular as ZERO. hahaha.

Oluv compares the ZERO with a H&K speaker.
He is talking a lot about this “harsh treble”.
I can not hear it.
May be the reason are my “old, worn ears”.
Or better the music I listen to. 
These are the setting which are suitable for me.
What I have to check out now is the “reduction of volume”.
Oluv speaks about.
As far I use it. There is NO.
Now playing ca 150 minutes.
The Zero was playing 9:00 hours.
The LED started blinking after 8:30 hours.
So it took 30 minutes to shut down.
Charging takes 1:30 hours.
I was playing Mozart, Beethoven and Schubert at a normal volume.
The monkeys liked it, though they got their winter suits now.

Can you define normal volume? Like what is normal to you? I only ask because we all hear differently and to some 75% volume is normal, where others say 60% is normal
This is difficult, old as I am, I am listening not so good anymore.
There is a “juridical definition” here in Germany:
“Zimmerlautstärke”
(difficult to translate, may be “normal household level”)
I would say it’s more 70% than 60%.
But I can see what the level shows at the output at audio adjustments at LINUX : 65% but I decreased the preamp at the equalizer to -4.
So it is still difficult to determine. 
Ok so your getting less llay time e than the stated 10 hours… Are you using Bassup? Surely the type of music you listen too doesn’t need bass so you should actually get better battery life than one who listens to bass heavy music
I use bassup, classical music needs a little bass as well.
The 9 hours are great for me, much more than I ever have been expecting.
I started a check of the FLARE, same conditions.

@fhassm Franz 9 hours is not bad at all, considering the specs says 10 hours.

Yes I agree, 
And of course it depends on some more settings:
bassup ON/OFF and the loudness of the music recording which differs often.
I reduced the preamp as well, but I dont know if there is an effect to
the battery life.
Great review! Might treat myself to this.

Love the review there! Definitely loving the picture with the wooden monkeys? hahaha love it
a minor pointer would be to have the product taken against a different floor/background because the gray carpet/cloth against the general gray/black color of the box hinders/hides the unique design of the product. I feel like your other pictures against the white background makes the product pop a bit more
but great review nonetheless!

Yes you are right.
I am no photographer and the “monkey-photo” was taken later.
But please forgive me to get the speaker out from the box, I coud’nt wait to find a better backround .
Too excited to get it in my old, trembling hands.
