The Anker Community: Past & Future

I don’t think the bottle ever shipped if it did I some how missed out. I’m hoping they still come back around to it cause I thought it would be cool to have an Anker water bottle

Seems he was too overwhelmed by our enthusiastic welcome.
So we, the few here will go on the same way we did the last months.

May be he is surprised to find a such perfect well-coordinated team here.
This team, the family cares a lot of themselves and do this since a long time.

Enjoy the sunday.

Funny, last week we had a special type of rain here in Bavaria.
The sky was really red because there was a lot of sand in the air.
Now all cars are covered with that that red brown dirt.
This sand came from the Sahara, it was said…
Think that’s true, because there is no desert in Europe.
Our car is clean -> garage!

Hmm interesting hadn’t heard about the sand rain you had. Hope everyone stayed safe. Had real rain over by me that was pretty crazy

From time to time sand is swapping from the Sahara to Europe.
The color of the sky was really strange.

Back when Neanderthals were the only humans in Europe, the Sahara didn’t exist, was a large freshwater sea, world warmed, the sea evaporated and now humans suffer the sand released for lack of water. Before humans existed it was saltwater sea.

Enjoy the sand

I dont mind the sand.
I have to wait for rain, because my slanted skylights are now non-transparent.
But what do I see from there?
The sky may be!

Hopefully not a peeping Tom, poking around on your roof.:face_with_raised_eyebrow:

The only peeping tom is a woodpecker.
I know him! I have seen him.
He and she.
Both strolling around here.

They like the old antenna mast installed on the roof.
Early in the morning : “drrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrt”.
Much better than any Wakey!

Those woodpeckers like houses isolated with some kind of Styrofoam.
No “drrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrt”, but success!
A hole can be drilled easily.

Seems we lost Mason very quick.
I am sure he was so overwhelmed by our happy welcome so he has to recover for a while!

I heard the sand storms happening several years ago in the news but did not know if that was a yearly thing or a rare phenomenon

Yes this a strange phenomenon we here in Europe are not used to.
But in the history its well known.
Was called “blood rain”.
In the middle ages people were afraid of of course.

Now the owners of car wash facilities are happy.
Not the car owners, beside high fuel costs they have to pay for car washing.

But these are small problems we have in the moment.
Lets pray, those others will not end in an incredible and unimaginable disaster!
