I like the idea of these PowerCores with built-in battery, dont think they do these in the UK.

The fusion models are US only unfortunately…

Hey @ndalby hope you are well.
I thought as much, love the convenience of the plug and go style of these.

That’s now a fair price for what you get, for only 18W PD and only 5Ah. $30 is reasonable for such little technology.

There is no need for that, just have the plug the slide-on with different pin shapes, then its one model for all countries. e.g. from another product.

Yep, think I mentioned something similar for the fusion when it was first released

Indeed.

Puzzled why, when they have this community, they didn’t simply do a poll and ask us months ago.

It’s as easy as

  • I only want a US folding pin model
  • I only want a UK specific fixed model
  • I’d like a model which works in UK, US, EU and similar countries

Not for long

Cool.

So confirming don’t buy version 1, as what the engineer didn’t think of, customer feedback will.

Slide off type? So works via sliding on country plug?

Oh look, we only been telling Anker for over 2 years

Goes to prove the engineering side doesn’t see this community as a source of knowledge, just marketing of their ideas. 2 years. Sigh.

It had to happen eventually and after only two years of requests…seems about right for the product roadmap

Ooh, now that’s clever, we know what Anker will do in 2022 by looking at requests here today? Cool!

So now I need to invent something here.
