Roav Viva does not connect since the latest iOS update. Emails have gone unanswered. Anyone have a fix for this or am I the owner of just a phone charger? I already had one of those.

Roav Viva had a App store update couple of days back (version 3.1.0) can you try to update and check if that works.
What is your iPhone Model? (If iPhone 11 series, then it will interesting)
What is the iOS version you are using ?
If iOS 13.2 then there was a very recent update 13.2.2 try this update along with Roav Viva update and let us know if this works.
