Problems connecting my Q30s to windows after firmware update

Hi there,

Has anyone else recently updated their firmware on the Q30’s and can no longer connect to a windows computer via. bluetooth?

When I can get it to work it’s only showing as a “Handsfree device” whereas last time is showed as both handsfree device and stereo headphone…the audio quality is rubbish and is constantly stuttering.

I recall seeing a fix where you deleted / disabled the device and search and make it add again.

I’ve tried that loads of times and unfortunately it’s not worked, can’t remember if I had a windows update at the same time so not too sure if that’s contributed to it as well.

Soundcore Life Q20 Windows 10 No Sound in Headset mode

I had the same problem with my soundcore 2. I resolved it by doing the following in no particular order: setting the sound device (click: taskbar sound icon) to “speakers (soundcore2/yourdevice stereo)” Check “settings” > “bluetooth and other devices” > check if your device is in “Audio” and not in “other devices” (that may take a moment after connecting, as it first is in the “other” section but then switches.
