This is a very solid budget cable at a better price point than the Apple cable.
The boots at both ends are larger than the stock Apple cable so it should hold up use fairly well.
The cable itself is about as thick as the stock Apple cable but has held up so far so good in my backpack which is full of other stuff in a tangled mess all the time.
Definitely would buy this cable as an option from the stock Apple cable.
