Power IQ 2.0-Charge Fast, Live More

So the new 10000 does have the capability to benefit from a future IQ2 charger? It is likely not able to pull more than 10W, never mind 18W correct?

Hi @nigelhealy

The PowerCore II Slim 10000 indeed could be recharged via two modes: 10W or 18W. If the wall charger you used has Quick Charge technology or PIQ 2.0 technology, it could be recharged under 18W mode and the recharging time would be around 4 hours.

FYI, the output of the PowerCore II Slim 10000 is able to offer max 18W output as well. That’s why it could charge a Samsung Galaxy S6 in around 1.5 hours.

Any word on when the PIQ 2.0 PowerPorts are coming? Also, can PIQ 2.0 have a 5V 3A input / output?

Just learned that IQ 2.0 supports 5V 2.4A.

This is exciting to hear and something I did not know before!

I know that already. So less than

Powercore II Elite

“Output
5V ⎓ 6A (5V ⎓ 3A Max Per Port)”

Powercore 26800

“Output
5V ⎓ 6A (5V ⎓ 3A Max Per Port)”

Plus it is not clear how it negotiates this.
