Power bank IQ

After having my awesome charger for two years all of a sudden I get ‘Accessory not supported’ and it won’t charge my iPhone 6s or iPhone 11? So what happened?

Maybe try a different cable? Normally it’s the cable so if you haven’t already, use a different cable and let us know

This is not related to PowerBank but the USB accessory that is, Lightning cable.

  • Which brand of Lightning cable are you using?

  • Is it MFi Certified by Apple to be used on iPhones?

  • On iphone - which version of iOS are you on?

Is this happening when the iPhone is locked? Unlock the iPhone and try to charge. I faced this issue on ios14 beta, where it did not detect usb cable for iPhone 6S.

Make sure the “USB Accessories” on FacelD and Passcode is checked.

iOS requires the iPhone to be unlocked for usb accessories when it is more than 1 hr of locking.

Also if this is Anker Cable, you may reach out to Anker Support support@anker.com

I get this quite often with my 5C when it’s time to get a new cable, as the connections wear… could also mean the older phone needs to have the port cleaned… gently…
