I am pairing a set of Sound Buds Slim with my MacBook Air (Mac OS Catalina). Pairs for sound but microphone does not appear to work with MacBook. Is this a known issue or is there a fix?
Please try the following steps to see if it helps at all.
- Fully charge your earphones
- Use the headphones to listen to the downloaded music or video of the phone to see whether the issue still persists.
-Try deleting the pairing history on your device, resetting your device, then try to pair with the headphone again
-Try pairing the Anker headphone with another bluetooth device
Also contact at firstname.lastname@example.org by detailing your order number and the problem.
There are also some suggestions to.use third party app Boom 3D on Mac which resolves this issue. You may want to give it a try with the Boom Trial app.
Have you changed the input in system preferences to use the Soundbuds mic over the internal mic?
Thanks for all of these. Still no joy. But they appear to work with iOS devices. They connect initially to the MacBook and then connection drops
Mac OS Catalina seems to have a lot of issues with Bluetooth as seen from Apple Support page.
