Nice feature

Found this kind of cable.
Interesting?

I’ve seen a couple of YouTubers mention cables like that. Seeing how much power a device is drawing seems pretty cool.

This would be a nice feature for ANKER cables as well.
What about this @AnkerOfficial ?

I do use a USB meter to check cable efficiency (resistance, voltage drop) periodically and to debug charging issues.

I’d not want one built-in as from an electronics perspective its only capable of showing Watts at the target not the voltage drop hence cannot detect cable failure.

The resistance of a cable comes from measuring the voltage drop between each end of the cable, current being obviously the same. This is just showing one end of the cable, so you’d not be able to know how good is the cable.

You also have that this electronics draining power all the time, making the cable less efficient.
