[New Release] PowerWave Sense Pad Alloy | Anker's First Fabric Wireless Charger is Now Available!

Anker has just released its first fabric wireless charger… Take a look at PowerWave Sense Pad Alloy!

Features & details

  • The Anker Advantage: Join the 50+ million powered by our leading technology.
  • The Need for Speed: With 11W high-speed charging for Google Pixel 4 and 4 XL, 10W charging for Samsung Galaxy, and a 7.5W charging mode to refuel iPhones up to 10% faster than other brands, PowerWave is bridging the gap between wireless and wired charging speeds.
  • Non-Slip Design: An aluminum base is designed for greater heat dissipation, ensuring a more stable charging experience, while anti-slip silicone pads keep your phone or AirPods on the sweet spot while powering up.
  • Instant Setup: With an 18W wall charger and USB-C cable included, you have everything you need to get started straight out of the box.
  • What You Get: PowerWave Sense Pad Alloy, Quick Charge 3.0 wall charger, 4 ft USB-A to USB-C cable, welcome guide, our worry-free 18-month warranty, and friendly customer service.

@professor was right again:

Only thoughts would be:

  • Why not include a Power Delivery or PowerIQ 3.0 charger with a USB-C to USB-C cable instead of a Qualcomm Quick Charge charger with a USB-A to USB-C cable?
  • Why no 15W charging support?
  • @professor has already pointed out the flaws in a convex design, despite Anker’s advertised cooling benefits.

The FCC schematics, I count $2-$3 more cost than the non-Sense Pad Alloy.

Odd they didn’t find any way to get any device to 15W. So that effectively is going to cause in a few weeks time the Alloy vs Sense Alloy questions of a zoo of different phones some who will get fastest charge on 15W, some who get fastest charge on 11W as the 15W goes down to 7.5W.

Odd also they didn’t use IQ2 or IQ3. Which you stated in our discussion. The current WPC standards mandate it, but IQ2 would do the job, losing Qi compatibility statement.

They would lose Qi certification with both these changes but it would be innovation and lower average costs.

Cooling. The heat is being caused within the phone itself, it needs to mate with a hunk of metal hugging its entire lower surface area and conduct it away. Metal conducts better than air.

It is like marketing is determining reality rather than the superior opposite.

Amusing. There’s more radiation coming from the Carbon-14 decay in his body, the large burgers he obviously ingested, than from the outside. He’s cooking his brain a wee bit more.

15w would have been so much better. I’d to see this design in person, not sure how much I like it right now

It’s not about the radiation, it’s about the ideas that the government puts into your brain if you don’t wear the foil :joy:

In a week? It has two coils, a 5W and 11W, it has about $3 more cost, so you’d have to take the lowest cost of a 10W pad and add about $3 to get it’s lowest cost. See who can guess best!

    • it will be $29.99
    • it will be $25.99
    • it will be $23.99
