nice…baking cake is always a long learning process. Think it took my wife few years to get it down and now my kids love their birthday cake every year

Those look delicious fella :ok_hand:

Used to take piano when I was younger but always wanted to learn the drums…would consider trying now but don’t think my neighbours would appreciate that

Very dangerous!
You are right:
All neighbours being friends now, would cancel the friendship soon.

I was playing in a band from 1964 to 1969.
Organ and drums as well.
We had a special room for exercise FAR away from any neighbour.
So there were no troubles.

I use to take guitar lessons as a youngster…was only able to take it for about a month though. Recently, I’ve tried to teach myself again via Youtube and whatnot. I love FingerStyle Guitar. It’s time consuming to learn but so satisfying too.

Mark Knopfler is the KING!!!

I too tried the sax, but couldn’t do the strange humming to get a tune out of it! :saxophone:

I did play the :trumpet:, cornet, saprano cornet (it sounds an octave higher and bugle:postal_horn:, while at school.

I also sing, when I’m not mucking about.

Don’t be silly!

It’s got to be Eric Clapton, or even Hank Marvin

@k_pug2003 That Cheesecake looks absolutely delicious  Great skills and passion for learning something new

Cooker has decided to stop working :grimacing:

Hopefully it’s nothing to do with my new baking “skills”

Check your haven’t accidently set the timer.

This won’t let the cooker turn on until the time set.

Unfortunately it’s not that easy. It’s not heating up to right temp. Turning it up to 220 and it’s prob sitting about 70.

Sounds like the thermostat has gone, or heating element?

Is it under guarantee?

If.you know model etc, you could try this place…
https://m.uk-spares.com/products/appliances

It’s a good few years old, def not covered under any guarantee lol

Might be just as cost effect to buy a new one.

Will have a look at that site though
