Kickstarter funds diverted to manufacture Liberty

Hi, did Zolo use the Kickstarter funds to manufacture and distribute the Zolo Liberty (non-plus model)?

Where else could they have gotten the funds?
And why didn’t they use those funds to achieve the promised shipping date on the Liberty+ model?
