Good review :clap:t2:

I noticed you said it sounds good at max volume - I must admit I tend to always have my speakers turned up to 90/100% so this for me is an important aspect

@k_pug2003 thanks man, glad you liked it. Normally with Bluetooth speakers the sound becomes distorted at max volume. Lucky the Soundcore Mini 2 doesn’t.

Thanks for the review.

Is there an inverse relationship between good bass sound and weight? A lighter speaker just vibrates? Is this why the Nano is better at voice and Mini better at music?

I think bass comes down to the driver and acoustics of said speaker. I use to have an old yamaha speaker that was about 4x6 inches and that thing produced great bass response, but that was because it used an acoustic channel to direct the bass. That speaker also weighed less than a pound, so great sound and bass isn’t directly related to weight, but how it’s designed and it’s acoustics

I’m glad you liked the speaker. I’ve been enjoying playing with my Amazon Alexa. Can this be controlled by Alexa, or would I have to use it as an external speaker only?

Oh cool. Thanks for letting me know

Nope you can’t control it with Alexa. Just an external speaker. Anker’s Eufy Genie is an speaker with built in Alexa. Only available in some countries though.
