If you have the 13" model, this one should charge it at a decent pace, however it will not be as fast as your original charger. A 60W charger has been talked about for a long time, but so far no sign of it. If you have the 15", I would definitely wait for the 60W, which will also charge the 13" very close to full speed.

I wouldn’t be surprised if they just make an entirely new listing whenever the updated product is ready.

wait for the 60W version PD, the 30W can still charge your mbp but slower. you can use it at home where charging speed isnt a concern though
