There appears to be an issue (I believe with Ubuntu 17.10 but uncertain at this time) when trying to use your “USB 3.0 SuperSpeed 10-Port Hub”. I needed this for android development to be able to connect many devices to a hub capable of charging them at a faster rate (basically so the battery doesnt deplete) while keeping the device in a USB debug bridge. If I connect more than 1 device at a time which has a data connection all of the devices with a data connection disconnect and reconnect randomly.
I used the supplied USB data cable that came with the device and the power adapter is connected to a known good power source. The USB data cable is plugged into a USB3 port on the board and have changed the ports during testing without success. If I only connect 1 device to any of the ports tested the connection is persistent and never disconnects.
