Help! the volume button on my new sound core mini appears not to work

Am I doing something wrong? I press the plus and minus buttons, but the volume doesn’t change. I bought this for a car journey tomorrow - but the volume is hopelessly low.

What are you pairing the speaker to? I ask because some devices control volume via the source and others can be controlled independently.

First, unpair and forget the device in bluetooth. Then try and repair it and see if anything changes, you may also adjust the volume via the source to note any changes

Regarding the issue you mentioned, please try turning the volume of your device and speaker to maximum first, and then test the volume button again. Please note, there will be a beep sound when you turn the volume of the speaker to the maximum. And you could also try the steps under Aux-in model to see if any help.
