Floodlight not brightening when motion triggered.

I have my floodlight set to be on minimum brightness from Dusk to dawn.
I have motion triggered lights enabled with the brightness set to 100%.
At night when motion is detected I get a notification and the status light indicates motion is detected but the lights stay on min brightness rather than switching to max.
I’ve deleted the floodlight from the app and re paired it, updated to the latest firmware and reinstalled the app (ios) on my phone.
Any ideas at all folks?
