The bucket surely is an unique way of reviewing

Here in SoCal, water is a precious commodity. I hope the bucket water was put to good use after he gave the Flare a bath. :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

Nice review but I couldn’t hear the music while it was in the bucket. The birds were way louder, LOL. Couldn’t you have tried again with the Volume up? Your video creation and review was good but I would have preferred to hear the music audio out of the speakers, although I already own a Flare

Haha, you probably couldn’t have heard the music while it was in the water even if the volume was up. :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye: Thanks for the feedback. As far as an audio sample, I considered it, but usually try to lean away from those types of things due to the inaccurate portrayal of audio quality after recording and then playing back through other speakers…

Thanks for the quick reply. Well that’s only for Mac users. Since I don’t have one I’m going to need something else, probably going to use something free to start (any suggestion would be welcome). Once I get more into making videos I might get something like Adobe Premier. I would love to take a class in After Effects to make some awesome intro’s and outro’s.

Nice video review! Does the battery life vary much with the LED toggled off vs if it were on?
(I’m assuming they can be turned off, yes?)

Yes battery life is effected if the lights stay on, but it’s not that drastic of a difference as say when your using two flares paired together.

Yes, they can be turned off

As far as battery life, I haven’t tested LEDs on vs. off, but I would imagine there is a difference, just not a very significant one.

Keep in mind, Flare+ is launching later this month with longer battery life, better sound, Bluetooth 5.0, and it includes a USB port for charging other devices.

Really?! About how much does that impact battery life?

When two are paired together I have gotten about 5 to 6 hours of use.

Strange… I wonder why it uses that much more battery life.

I wuld assume it’s because of the bluetooth connection to your phone and the same syncing to the other speaker. More power draw to keep it in sync and working together for stereo sound
