My understanding is that the AI is in the homebase and not the cameras and that you can use the “E” cams with the AI homebase and still get the AI functionality.

That is correct. But maybe he just mentioned the AI feature to make clear what kind of cam he wants (the original eufy cam). If not, he can use the eufy cam E also. Yes. (if using the original homebase with A.I.)
