The Lumis turned up today.
Initial impression is good but slight disappointment because the bottom isn’t flat, so they can’t stand up which would have been nice so I could put on a shelf in the bedrooms.
Are the bottoms of the 1st generation versions flat?

Think I’ll send them back and get the 1st gen.
Shame, because the high brightness was the best setting for upstairs if we get up at night 
Glueing a match on front bottom will help the LUMIS to stand upright.
I did the same with the ICON mini.
Easy for an old “tinkerer” like we are.

I had thought of a touch of BluTac or something similar.
But as I’m likely to move them around it just would have been nice if they had a flat bottom to easily move from room to room and place wherever needed.
Those, or something like that will do it.

I have ordered the 1st gen and will check them out tomorrow.
1st gen just arrived. They stand up as I hoped the 2nd gen would have done.
Will test tonight and compare against the 2nd gen and will hopefully get some pics too.
Big illumination this evening!
