Does it mean that the one I have is a fake?

No

Okay I will read it but my English is not to good

OK well try to design a better one of the same size and then imagine pulling it on the USB cable from different directions and think what will happen.

Easily done if you get a big peice of paper and solve each of those problems you thought of, modify the design, then imagine pulling the USB cable.

I carry multiple USB chargers to solve different situations.

Situations:

  • don’t expect to need power - Fusion 5000
  • do expect to need power for a couple of items during a day - Powerport II 2
  • do expect to need power, overnight stays, in a known place with good wall sockets - Powerport 2 + your charger. (I just did this last week)
  • do expect to need power, many overnight stays, in unknown situations, Powerport 5 + your charger.

So I use your charger as a backup.

Ok aside from all this, could not be a little smaller? That way it would look more elegant and make more sense.

It could be a little smaller in one axis but not in all dimensions. The problem of the USB port depth would make a taller (from the wall) charger.
The problem of the hinge being central blocking one port cannot be easily solved as the hinge is protruding inwards in the gap between the 2 USB ports so if you moved the hinge you’d make it deeper too.

You could probably shrink the width with smaller electronics but not easily the other 2 dimensions.

I encourage you to draw up different designs and imagine pulling on the USB cable from different directions and see the challenges in this size.

It is a great little charger, as a backup “rainy day”.

Don’t mean to be rude or anything but what’s your native language?

I believe Alex is Boriqua. Which is a person from Puerto Rico. So Spanish would be his native tongue.

Yes but I’m not the only Boricua, boricua is a common name is lowercase.

The only thing is that oled (the new Samsung phones have this) screens do look better Lcd (in my opinion), and I’ve seen the difference (I have a iPhone X and I have spent a couple of hours with an iPhone xr)

OLED screens are expensive to make. And for people who have never had/used an oled screen it really doesn’t make a difference. I have used both extensively and it doesn’t bother me much.

Ya, you do have a point. LCD screens, especially on the iPhone xr still are great.

Its just that in a few years (6-7 years), probably all major phone designers/companies (apple, Samsung, google) will probably have an all oled (or better screen) lineup.

I agree with the people who have Samsung galaxi the screen looks excellent, yesterday I saw a person with a galaxi 7 and I thought it was the Galaxi 9 with how good it looked until I asked.

Samsung is more chipper than iPhone but Samsung more quality!

Ah, this thread has become an Apple vs Samsung debate.

Although its true that Samsung has more features for less money, it comes down to the software (as specs wise they are very close), android pie or iOS. Whichever you prefer, there is a clear one that is more secure

Let’s not get into the debate about what’s more secure given the recent issues one has had…

I know, but … At least apple is trying to fix them, when you and me both know there are tons of problems on BOTH android and iOS.
