I want to run two Soundcores at the same time (i.e., whitenoise app going on two night tables), but iPhone (6) only runs one or the other. I suspect problem is both are named ‘Anker SoundCore’, and if I can change name of one, both will operate at same time. Can anyone advise?
Changing Bluetooth Name / Running Two SoundCores at Same Time
This can be done with Jailbreak on iPhone, which I did at one point of time for Plantronics headsets, but its not worth it. (Don’t use jailbreak unless you are an advanced user and want to be exposed to vulnerabilities)
iOS should build this into code to include numbering if there are multiple devices starting with same name, such as Soundcore Spirit X, Soundcore Spirit X (1)
It is much easier on windows.
On a second thought… try to use a BT Multi point transmitter, use iPhone as source for it. BT pair both the Soundcore Speakers to the BT Transmitter.
Option 2 – best one, which Soundcore model do you use… The Soundcore. Speakers can stereo pair (same make, model for most speakers). This way, you pair one speaker to iPhone, and play stereo mode on both the Speakers
Did not know you can stereo pair the SoundCore speakers. That would work great for our needs. Will set about to doing that. Thanks!!
There are specific models… Which ones do you have?
The must be the same model
The two SoundCore speakers are the same model (one is Red and other is Blue). Model is A3102.
I believe stereo pairing is not available with this speaker. You may give it a try to pair them together by first pairing one device to the iphone. Once paired, press Bluetooth button on both speakers at the same time for 3 seconds, they should pair together, if stereo pairing is supported.
Is there any solution for this? We have 4 Soundcore PowerConfs in our office, and we have all of them paired with our phones / laptopst. Very confusing! Add this feature to the Soundcore app!
