Calling at all Power Users, our new sample page has arrived!

They are usually pretty understanding in my experience. Just let them know. I think they have an automated system set up to send out reminders and ask, so you shouldn’t feel too pressured to rush.

So I don’t know if this is necessarily unique to Anker or not, but Anker always wants you to be honest. They want you to identify areas for improvement and contact them with suggestions, rather than just praise the product. That is one area I look to improve in with my future reviews. I’m also hoping to appeal to more viewers by being a touch more scientific.

IT is also a function on where in the manufacturing process you get the products. IF you get it the same time as it sold and you are being used to get review for it, then the problems are baked in and cannot be fixed til the next manufacturing revision. If you got easy beta products you can tweak it. More of an opportunity for products running software (Roav, Nebula) than “dumb” products like Powercore, Powerport.

Yea I find the too. Normally if you explain you need more time they will ice you a week or so…

You can always update your review at a later date too

Yep that is why those things are put through ‘public’ beta testing sessions whereas others are not.

In addition to Roav and Nebula products, smart home stuff from Eufy, speakers (and possibly earbuds) from Anker, and Zolo products could also benefit.

Clean look but somehow it does not seem very different from the original version. Maybe it’s just me but nothing negative, I like it.

I pretty much agree with @Vidyanand_Sharma, it doesn’t look too different from before. But nothing negative to say about it. I still like that we can see our previous samples.

This is something I could easily people at my work using, but it’s the type of product they wouldn’t buy it until they had seen it. So I will definitely be on the look out for trying to win one or if they appear on the PU program

I thought of work contexts also but fear is to get an image big enough for multiple people to see required a distance so great the image becomes too faint?

This is why often a fan noise projector I’d used cooling the bright bulb.

For what I am thinking yes. Normally we wouldn’t need a picture any bigger than 35" I would say.
I work for a research institute that specialises in various crops. As such we are frequently found in fields at exhibitions and such. Power can therefore be in high demand. We currently have some small portable projectors that they use to aid small displays. But they take an age to cool down before they can be moved, are very noisy and of course have no speakers.

Also, around the institute on a day to day occurrence there are small groups of people (3-8) who get together to look at things and discus them. Normally they will just huddle around a laptop screen if we have no spare portable projectors left to have a loan of.

You’re basically saying same as me that you can see potential use cases but have to get into hands and try. I’m thinking of where carrying small things matters and presenting to a small set of people, how well does it work.

woot to my surprise when I check today the power user page and I see products available. Nice to see it back instead of e-mail invites so we can actually chose what we want to review.

Oh, I see. Thanks. We used to be able to see the samples - and request it if still available.

Do you know how can I remake my pitch for being accepted as a reviewer - if it’s possible?

Oh darn im late. Looks like a good product
