Waiting. I typically wait at least a year or whenever a V2 is released (unless it is a necessity).

Many problems show up after the device is released and sold to customers.
They are doing those tests which usually should be done by honest and skilled beta testers.

Also the technology changes so if you wait til necessary you’ll likely get a better product, or the older product lower cost, or you’ve learned what to avoid. Any of them better than a rushed decision.
