Anker has such a huge product portfolio, the chance it overlaps its deepest discounts with your wishlist is a low probability.

I quite like the LC90 so I bought it, lower cost than the deepest discount yet which was in December. I was online refreshing at the moment it came up and it was racing at 1% sold every few seconds, it was gone very quickly. If the Powercore 10000 is deeply discounted ( <$20) I might get one and gift to someone. I also told my UK friends about some of the better offers in UK Prime deals which in some cases are lower prices than USA Prime deals.

So I’m not disappointed, it is what I expected, a random collection which is probably more to do with stock levels by region. Stock levels are as much related to competitors own discount offers.

Probably the best comment I’ve read on several forums today about Prime Day discounts…snagged a few USB-C cables myself as I pretty much covered on the PowerCores until they die a death or are nabbed by family members

My most used Powercores are the smaller ones, because I like to travel as light as possible, so I initially thought my 10000 is draining fast as my devices are generally getting more power hungry, but as my 10000 is now 18 months old I’m beginning to wonder if its draining fast from old age (lots of deep cycles). I only just now realised I had the 10000 for 18 months. My other Powercores are Mini, Slim and the huge 26800. I end up needing to carry the Mini+10000 because of mAh capacity and the 10000 shuts off power to the BT earbuds before they are charged (minimum draw) whilst the Mini+ doesn’t, that plus I am nearer needing 15000mah on a longish travel day.

This was my first Prime Day experience and I totally agree with you. Disappointing. It felt more like a garage sale of sorts but not even at great prices that would make it worthwhile to sign up for Prime membership, if you don’t already have it. And the items that are offered, well, you could probably find it for cheaper searching the internet. So yeah, I’m disappointed.

Black Friday is more the day for tech. In Anker’s case this Prime period I think it was the lowest price for the 10000 (which is getting long in the tooth as a product) and the LC90 but other items were not the lowest ever.

Yeah the LC90 is the best all-rounder. I like the LC40 for more pocketability / emergency type (it is lowest cost method for lots of bright torches dotted around for unexpected events). I have the LC130 and I just find it so physically huge it is more weapon than utility :innocent:

I didn’t check that thoroughly but when I do check reviews I find a lot of the negative views are childish venting that they didn’t read the small print or they were just ignorant. Only a few of the negative views are valid of the type it would give me pause.

Unfortunately I missed it. It kicked off during my commute to work and once at work, well compared to usual days it was hitting the ground running time :anguished: .

Would have been nice to get at a price drop but hey that’s life. Might wait and see if it’s in the Black Friday sales as I’m not in rush…although the same might not be said by relatives who are after my older SoundCore that would be up for grabs.

Overall, Prime Day was disappointing. But, I did pick up the Anker Astro E1 67000mAh for the hubby. I got one a little ago and he kept borrowing it. Now, we each have our own. LOL. I so so love this battery pack. So darn cute and it packs a punch. Other then this, the only other thing I picked up thru the Prime sales is some Sugru. I’ve always been curious about those but they were always so expensive. Finally got my hands on some and will satisfy my curiosity. :slight_smile:
