Anker USB C to USB 3.0 Adapter (Female)

Wanted to take the opportunity for a first look at the USB 3.0 to USB-C Female adapter. The device is well constructed and does not feel cheap. Lightweight, weighing about 6 grams, when compared to the bundled converter that came with the Galaxy S8, weighing at 4 grams. Data transfer speed varies based on device that its being connected to; however, on a test with a USB 2.0 flash drive, i was able to write at about 40mbps.

Usage-
• Transfer Photos and files from Computer, Flash drives to and from UBS-C enabled devices.
• Charging capabilities both from USB-C enabled power bank or to charge the power bank with an USB-C-to-USB-C cable.

Pro-
• Charging and data transmission appears to be slightly (~10%) faster than compared to the Samsung adaptor that came with the S8 Devices.
• Lightweight and super stylish with the aluminum look and feel.
• Seems to support fast charge when used with a Galaxy S8
• Was able to achieve a 40mbps write speed over a USB 2.0 device.

Con-
• Can be slightly longer than the device, which bundled with the Galaxy S8
• You need to apply some force when inserting the Female to the USB 3.0 cable.
• May not fit properly when connecting through a bulky case.
