The Anker USB-C (Male) to Micro USB (Female) Adapters are great until they get lost. I’d love for them to have some way to attach to the cord so when the micro is needed for another device the adapter is still attached to the cord.

Yes it is a common concern. We raised it with Anker years ago, e.g. this mine from 3 years ago, and they responded with this
It does keep the adapter attached to the cable.
You can buy a cable with different connectors
Duct tape is the go to for everything. Though maybe some rubberbands would be better for this.
