Anker Hoard

@amangons I used to gift items in Anker boxes… I had to stop doing this, however, when I used the box for my PowerCore 26800 to gift my mother a necklace.

She was so excited after receiving an Anker box… But it turned out to only be jewelry.

Cus I have sold some of my older devices and people have always asked for the original box. Maybe they want the experience of taking it out from the box without the peel porn :joy::joy::joy:

@fhassm we have a fruit bowl that sits on the living room table. Maybe if I hid them in a box they would last longer as the kids won’t know where to look

This is the reason I keep boxes as well.
When selling or give away items it is always useful to have the original box.
If you regard watches. If you have the original box and papers it’s increasing the price a lot.

And of course I keep the manuals and cables.

Yeah I’ve looked at watches on police auctions and guide prices without boxes and manuals is a fraction of the cost. It’s all about resale-ability.

Ooo sounds good

I have the box hoarding problem. I don’t know why I keep them either. It’s not like I ever use them again. I need to get a little file box for all the paper work that comes in them and just store them in there. I use to save boxes because I moved a lot and it was easy to repack it all back up in the box for safe travels, but I don’t plan on moving again anytime soon. This weekend may be a good time to purge.

Well, the boxes which I keep are the boxes of my miniature train. They are quite small and good to store the little cars and locos.
But I have also some LGB cars and locomotives. I have to keep the boxes too - but they are very big…

Ooo some day I hope you’ll show us pics of your train set

That makes me think of him too lol

I was the same way with Samsung phone boxes. I had like 6 until we moved to a different house and got rid of them. That was a sad day. Right now, I only have 2
