Anker charger as powersupply?

Hi,

I have a Samsung Gear S3 which comes with a powersupply and a cradle that has a micro usb port.

Can I use a Anker charger (Powerport Speed 5 port) as powersupply to the cradle instead of the included one, using a separate cable?

Any chance of causing damage?
Does the Powerport gives a reliable 5V?

Thanks

Mikael

You will be fine using the powerport speed 5, I use the powerport 5 with pd on a daily basis for all my charging needs when I am home

I use mine the same way all the time. One less outlet used up and makes managing cables easier. You should look into the wireless charges, too.

You will be more than fine. That’s a great desktop charger. Although, I use the PowerPort 5 Ports USB-C mounted to the bottom of my desk and have the ports facing out on the edge for quick, neat access:

What measuring device is that?

That would be a Drok meter, you can buy them on Amazon and different forms, such as This one which I have or the one above that @Dez_S has
