Hello! I am having an issue where my 5-in-1 USB-C hub is disconnecting occasionally, normally one or two minutes after I plug it in whenever I want to use an external monitor and an external keyboard and mouse with my MBA M1. When the issue happens, my external monitor would go black, and I would have to click with my mouse or keyboard to turn it on again. The last time it happened (today), even the mouse and keyboard stopped working along with the external monitor, so I had to unplug and plug my USB-C hub back into my MBA’s port for it to start working normally again.
My power adapter is plugged in whenever I want to use an external monitor, and after restarting my laptop, the issue still persists around once a day when I come home with my Macbook to work with an external monitor. I am on the latest version of macOS Big Sur. I am using an Anker 5-in-1 USB-C hub.
What can I do to fix it? Thank you so much!
